I left my home on hollowed bones, while you were curled and sleeping.

WHO: Heather Mason (Silent Hill) and Laura Palmer (Twin Peaks)
WHERE: A grungy little Daisy Villa apartment in Bangor, Maine.
WHEN: idk 2008 or something
WHAT: Returning to the old homestead after being away for awhile can actually be sort of lonely when you're Heather Mason-- especially when you're returning there after exploring colorful worlds in-game and out.
... Fortunately, it'd seem someone got to come back with her, and that someone desperately needs a home that isn't in the middle of Supernatural Creeper Central.
RATING: G (maybe some PG for Heather being a sailor-mouth and general Silent Hill/Twin Peaks discussion)

There were a lot of doors between worlds.

One thing Heather had found was that no matter how many lives she was living, there was always that limbo and the doorways led all over the damn place. Most of them not too terribly interesting in her experience-- nice if you wanted a little pocket of somewhere to hang out with someone without being bothered-- sort of a metaphysical nook, if you will. But not exciting. Not really new, either.

Just places to pass the time while she slept, until she woke up by herself in a dark city, or (and she liked this one better) curled up in a sleeping bag, trapped there by the warm weight of a big warm slumbering dog.

And then she found it.

A dusty old trapdoor that felt a great deal more familiar somehow than all the rest.

It creaked heavily as she squatted and heaved it open.

"... Dude... No way."

Not entirely sure whether to feel suspicious or excited, she twisted to holler over her shoulder.

"Hey, Washington! You gotta come see this."
