[Well ... okay, Laura's pretty damn perceptive but she doesn't really like the implications. Partly because no, no one is supposed to know (except Harold, but Harold ... is special) and partly because if Heather REALLY did know ... it didn't bode well for her, either.]

[So she doesn't say anything, just stares at the other girl with a sort of terse uncertainty, waiting for her to continue.]
